Automation of the Auscultation of the Montante and Jusante Dams in the area of the Bragança district on the Sabor River in Portugal.

This project involved the complete automation of the auscultation of both dams, including global positioning GNSS systems for the detection of structure movements. It is a project of hundreds of instrumented signals collected along the dam galleries in several remote areas and centralized in the ADA (Auscultation Data Acquisition) software.

The Baixo Sabor complex is a hydroelectric development consisting of an arc-gravity dam and a 144MW reversible power plant, with two Francis turbines of 72MW each.

It is the third largest water reservoir in Portugal.
